Vince Roig Convening Center

The Vince Roig Convening Center is named for Helios Education Foundation’s Founding Chairman who is deeply committed to creating strategic partnerships and collaborations that lead to student success.

About The Space

The purpose of the meeting space is to spark innovation and action around ensuring every student, regardless of background or zip code, has access to a high-quality education. Our desire is for the meeting space to be a place where people can elevate issues of equity and develop ways to create a more equitable education experience for Arizona and Florida students.

In addition, the meeting space will be a place where the community can collaborate on our statewide education goals as outlined in the Arizona Education Progress Meter. For example, issues such as:

  • Increasing opportunities for high-quality early learning experiences for Arizona’s youngest children.

  • Increasing third-grade reading proficiency and ensuring all students in Arizona read at grade-level by the end of third-grade.

  • Increasing postsecondary enrollment and matriculation for students after high school graduation.

  • Increasing postsecondary attainment and reaching our Achive60AZ goal.

All applications to use the Vince Roig Convening Center or the Esplanade Boardroom will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
